About the school
The School of Liberal Arts & Behavioural Sciences at Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh stands at the intersection of human thought, social understanding, and emerging technologies. Being the first AI-augmented multidisciplinary university in India, it provides liberal arts education in which AI is not perceived as something to replace thinking, but rather something to study, interpret, and apply to the learning process in a responsible manner.
Based on the tradition of liberal arts and reinforced by interdisciplinary learning, the School develops critical thinking, ethical reasoning, behavioural insight, and cultural awareness. The students are challenged to debate presumptions, make sense of intricate social realities, and interact constructively with matters of governance, identity, power, and human behaviour in modern society.
