B.Tech (CSE - Data Science) with Google
The four-year B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science, offered in collaboration with Google, combines a strong foundation in computer science with the methods and tools used to turn data into meaningful insights. With Google-aligned learning content, case studies and industry-relevant practices, the program brings the data science workflow into the classroom from collecting and cleaning data to statistical analysis, predictive modelling, visualization, and communicating findings for informed decision-making. At the School of Engineering, our focus is to give students the opportunity to experience this process themselves. We want students to spend time in laboratories, work on projects, understand how things work, interact with industry, and learn from practical experience—not just prepare for examinations.
I also believe that an engineering degree should help students become independent thinkers. There will be problems for which there is no ready-made answer. Learning how to approach such problems with patience, creativity, and confidence is an important part of becoming an engineer.
Our faculty will work closely with students to develop their technical abilities while also encouraging teamwork, communication and professional responsibility. My message to our students is simple: stay curious, keep experimenting, and never be afraid to ask why.
