Agriculture
Agricultural Advancement Initiatives
Pioneering cutting-edge efforts to improve agricultural practices and encourage sustainable growth in the industry, Chandigarh University is at the forefront of agricultural advancement. In order to teach farmers about cutting-edge methods, environmentally friendly practices, pest control, and crop diversification, the university will launch agricultural extension programs.
Furthermore, there will be short-term seminars and workshops on integrating technology into agriculture, covering topics including precision farming, drone crop monitoring, and mobile agriculture management software. The use of climate-resilient crops, soil health, and water conservation will be the main topics of special training programs that will highlight climate-resilient farming.
